Our 16th Annual Golf Day took place on 14 May at the Beachwood Golf Course. 23 teams participated, including a team of TAFTA residents who came 12th on the overall log. Stroke patients enjoy mini Olympics

Members of the Stroke Group at the Association for Physically Challenged in Sherwood recently met with member of a similar group at TAFTA on Ridge for a morning of socialising and friendly competition. Members challenged each other at skittles, ring toss, darts and deck quoits. The event was such a success that we are going to repeat it again in June.

    2 April: Eileen and Philip van Greunen, who are climbing to Everest Base Camp to raise awareness and funds for the care of our elderly, have embarked on their journey. First stop, Doha, Qatar. 7 April at 11:57 Eileen and Philip started climbing today. With limited signal and no internet connectivity, communication has become more troublesome.
