Calling all golf enthusiasts

You’re invited to participate in our annual Golf Day Challenge, and help raise funds for Meals on Wheels – an essential Tafta service to Durban’s elders.

The tournament, which takes place on 16 May at the Durban Country Club, is a 4-ball alliance, two scores to count. The entrance fee of R1000 per player (R4000 per team) includes a halfway-meal, green fees, and a glamorous dinner and prize giving to round off the evening.

All proceeds for this year’s event will once again go towards Tafta’s Meals on Wheels, a community service project for house-bound elders, both in Tafta homes and in the community.

Sanlam Private Wealth portfolio manager and avid golfer, Lyall McNeill, said he was glad his company continues to support the event. “Tafta does an incredible job of caring for the elderly in our community. At Sanlam Private Wealth we are proud to be involved with such an organisation. By supporting their Golf Day, we are directly assisting in raising funds for the people they care for, and encourage other companies to do so too.”

Corporate, individual, and team sponsorships opportunities are also available. Donations are welcomed and appreciated.

To register a team, or to become a tournament sponsor, call Prevashni at 031 332 3721 or email info@tafta.org.za.
