Picnic at Anna Conradie Service Centre

Due to inclement weather conditions yesterday – Thursday, 1 October 2015 –  TAFTA’s Picnic in the Gardens ended up being a Picnic at Anna Conradie Service Centre Hall. Over 400 older folk enjoyed entertainment by the Durban Music School, S. Dass School, Elvis Impersonator Andrea G, Les Vurden and the Army Band. On Friday 28 August, members of the Culture Club held a fundraising golf day at Mount Edgecombe golf estate, and TAFTA was one of the beneficiary organisations. Kevin Hayes, Divisional Manager, Income Development attended the prize giving function in the evening and was delighted to receive a generous donation of R34 500 towards our Meals on Wheels Initiative.
